Sky Blue Theatre 2012 One Act Playwriting competition
Closing date: Friday 30th March 2012
Prizes: All entries will be read and a shortlist drawn up. Shortlisted scripts will be developed for performance. The winning play will be chosen for full production with the Sky Blue Theatre Company, offering the writer an opportunity to be involved with the staging of the play, and valuable development time with the companies actors and director.
Entry fee: £15 per play adults; £5 per play youth (under 18's)
This  open competition invites submissions of new, one act unpublished plays from both adult and youth writers. Entries must be original, one act plays for the stage with a running time of between 20 and 30 minutes.

Pint-sized Plays 2012 Competition
Closing date:  31st May 2012.
Prizes: There will be six winning scripts which will be performed in pubs in Tenby, Pembrokeshire during Tenby Festival week, and subsequently at other pubs yet to be announced. The six winning scripts and four runners up will be performed in a theatre in early October. The scripts will be judged by the audience and there will be two prizes: for Best Script and Runner Up, together with a certificate for the third place.
Entry fee: £5.50 or equivalent for each play submitted
Scripts should be capable of being staged in a pub with a running time of between 5 and 10 minutes. Scripts should require two or three characters only with minimal additional props.
