            <title>Over The Edge writing</title>
            <description>Over The Edge writing&lt;br&gt;
Closing date: 3rd August, 2010.
The 2010 Over The Edge competition is open to both poets and fiction writers.
Prizes: the best poetry entry will win E300. One will be chosen as the overall winner between short story and poetry and will receive an additional E400, giving the overall winner total prize money of E700. Fees are E10 for one entry, E7.50 additional entries. Accepted are: three poems of up to 40 lines, or one poem of up to 100 lines. Closing date for entries is June 30, 2010.
Prizes: The winner of the First Prize will be designated The Manchester Cathedral Poet of the Year. Otherwise, prizes are: £400, £200, or £100. Entry fee is £4 for the first poem and £2 50 each for others. Poems up to 40 lines each should be broadly religious, that is, spiritual in nature and, like all good religious poetry, appeal to those who would not necessarily describe themselves as such.
Poems are welcome in any style or form and will be judged solely on their merits as poetry. For details see the website.</description>
