Write For Robbie (in aid of Scottish Cot Death Trust)
Closing date: 31st July 2016.
Prizes: Privately funded: Amazon vouchers for one overall winner in each of two categories - Adult (aged 16 and over) - to the value of £35. Under 16's - to the value of £15.
Entry fee: by way of direct donation to Scottish Cot Death Trust: Adults: £3 per poem submitted, Under 16's: £2 for up to 3 poems submitted at any one time.
Looking for: Poems on the subject of human life/emotion: these can be happy or sad or a mixture of both. Works should ideally be no longer then 40-50 lines, and very short pieces (haikus etc) will only be considered if exceptional. Please do not write anything overly religious.
Further info: All proceeds from this competition will go directly to Scottish Cot Death Trust and the best of the poems submitted (numbering around 50 plus) will be published in a short collection of works, proceeds from the sale of which will also go to the above named charity. All entries will be personally acknowledged.

Cheshire Prize for Literature competition
Closing date: 1st September 2016.
Prizes: The prize-winner will receive £2,000. Additional prize-money of £750 will be awarded and the best entries will be published.
Entry fee: Entry is free.
Looking for: An original and previously unpublished poem or collection of poems. Individual poems should not exceed 50 lines and no more than 100 lines per entrant.
Further info: The writer must have been born, live or have lived, study or have studied, work or have worked, in Cheshire. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over on 1st September 2016.
