The unusually named “The Once Orange Badge” Poetry Supplement is a publication “for everyone whose life has been touched by illness or disability”. D. Martyn Heath says, “Since the release of issue 3 in May 04 I have been amazed by the amount of letters, e-mails and feedback I’ve received”. Writers do not have to be ill or disabled to submit poetry. Issue 4 will be out in December 04. If you would like to subscribe or submit poetry, e-mail: [email protected]
The National Association of Poetry Therapy is keen to use poetry and other literature as a means to healing and wholeness. This is what they have to say, “As poetry therapists, we use all forms of literature and the language arts, and we are united by our love of the word, and our passion for enhancing the lives of others and ourselves.”
