quince books was founded recently by Simon Mitchell. Simon believes that current large publishing houses sometimes miss potential commercial successes because they are afraid to commit resources to new writers. He wants to change that. Previously with Aultbea in Scotland, he developed authors such as Emma Maree Urquhart, Sophie Wainwright, Neil Donaldson and Libby Reece and was instrumental in publishing a number of their titles.
